Welcome to the Fall semester! I hope this newsletter finds you and your loved ones well. There is a lot happening in the Jewish Studies Program, and I want to provide you with updates, introduce funding opportunities for our students, deliver news about our faculty, and more.

Congratulations to the Spring 2023 graduating class! The Jewish Studies graduation recognition and award ceremony was held on Friday, May 12, 2023.

The regions of the Middle East and Latin America have been connected for centuries. This conference will explore the impact of the cultural, social, and political intertwining of the countries, communities and influencers from these two areas of the world.

Please join the Jewish Studies Program and the Center for Global and International Studies on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 at 2PM in Alderson Auditorium, in the Kansas Memorial Union for a panel discussion on the current events happening in Israel.
